I just finished auditing the advanced Lomi Lomi class in Plantation, Florida. I wanted to take this because I felt I needed some guidance on some of the moves. I wasn’t prepared to see that I knew it a lot less than I thought I did.

I knew I had been having trouble with some of the moves. I felt like I didn't have enough control, or I was using too much effort. Alice lets returning students audit for free (the same as I do for my Reiki classes), so since it was only costing me motel and travel costs, I went down to see it again.

She started showing the advanced back moves, and I had figured I knew this part real well as I do these in my routine. (I’ve been doing Lomi Lomi for almost two years now.) The problem was that I really didn't know the positions or the best way to stand to apply it. Wow.

There was a lot that I was dead on, but there was quite bit that I was re-learning. Now, since I have been doing this for two years, I had the basics, and there was not a lot of effort to change what I was doing to be absolutely correct. After that, I was able to help some of the other students there as they were learning it for the first time.

While I was here, I did a massage on my friend that lives here. She has not been feeling well, and I really should not have been touching her. (The last thing I need is to catch what she has and pass it on to others.)

Before working in her, I shielded, and I added a little extra effort to specifying that they protect me from disease and illness. I did not catch what my friend has. And while working energy on her, I fixed whatever problems she was having with her stomach. All in all, she was really pleased with the work I did. (I have ruined her as she can no longer go to the local chain massage center and think that their work is good.) One neat thing is that I did my routine, but I added the changed Lomi moves without having to think about them. They worked just fine, and I didn't break stride at all. Cool.

I'm looking forward to working it on some of my clients. This has been a very good trip.
