Well, I have come to the conclusion that I don’t know how to talk to people and that being helpful is not what people want.

I had a call today where the person was asking for information about my next Reiki class. She wanted to learn Reiki so she could work on her friend that has Fibromyalgia.

I told her that Reiki would be a good thing to use on her, but that there was something else her friend should try. While Reiki can and usually does help relieve the pain from Fibromyalgia, MFR can be something that can eliminate it completely. So I told her about it.

Guess what? I lost the class sale. Here I was trying to be helpful (while trying not to seem like I was pushing something else to be bought), and I lost a student.

Next time I guess I should just shut up and take the money.
