I meant to post this before I left, but too many things got hold of my time, and wouldn't give it back. I am sitting on a plane headed toward Las Vegas, where we are spending part of our vacation. The other part will be spent in Sedona, Arizona, a place where all types of alternative healing thrives due to the special energies around the place.
Let's start with Vegas, a place I've never been. Now, I am not a gambler, but there are lots of things to do without having to gamble. I am going to see the lights and the sounds, and enjoy the atmosphere, and to get out of hell (er, work).
Now, I may play a slot, but I am not into big money. (If I were, I would have to be charging more for classes. I decided long ago that I was not meant to be rich in this lifetime.) However, that did not stop me from getting advice from my teacher before leaving.
A few things she does, and told me to try. She said that if I should be brave enough to try roulette, I should stand in front of the 'dealer' so that my chakras are aligned with theirs. This allows one to take control of their energies. Next, I should bet a color only, red or black. Next I should focus on the 'dealer' and sending my energies to them, thinking the color I want. As they release the ball, my energies should move to the ball, again thinking my color to it. If I win, keep playing. If I lose three times, go away for a couple of hours.
She said that as I walk away, let all my energies into the earth, and then bring them up fresh and new. She usually goes to dinner at this time. Kay told me the story of how she went on a gambling cruise, and won 13 times at this. Then, the management closed the table down for the rest of the cruise. She said that this can work for card games as well. Not sure I want to think about that. I think red or black might be as much as I can handle, if even that.
The other thing she advised on was the slots. What she does is play the nickel slots as they pay off more often. She then holds a crystal in her left hand near the slot that the money goes in. She puts in her money, sends her energies, and pulls the lever. The only thing is that one needs to be conscious of which direction(s) their energies are going in. If they are going straight ahead, then they are sending to the machine you are playing. She had a time where they were going to the sides and people on both sides of her were winning. So, she said if this happens, make sure you know the people on both sides.
Now, as to Sedona, this place is home to four energy vortexes (not vortices), the only place in the world that four exist in one place. As best as I can define through what I have read, these vortexes are circular spirals of energy. What drawings I've found make them look like tornados, but no wind or any other type of disturbance, just energy.
There are four or five (depending on which material you read) vortexes in Sedona, each coming out of a mountain, a small mountain. The mountains are either within, or right outside the city limits. One can not drive up to them, but one can come within a few minutes walk. There are tour guides that take people out to these places. Some will do Reiki healings there. Now I would think that would be really powerful. It is said that if one is sensitive to energies, they can feel them when they enter town.
Each vortex has its own type of energy. Depending on which descriptions you follow, the energies are either male or female, or they differ by magnetics. One vortex may have male energies while another has female, and another has both. Whatever one you go into, those energies will help develop that part of you. For instance, the female energies will develop the female side of anyone including males. I am still not sure what one is supposed to do there, just sit, or meditate. We have a couple books on the subject, so I will be checking them out before getting there.
I am looking forward to getting to these, and seeing what happens. My sister in law and my wife are looking to see what happens to me. Funny thing is that my teacher was teaching classes from trance a month ago (she goes out and someone else comes in and teaches), and told the entire class that we would all open up during June. I had started laughing as I knew we were headed to the vortexes. I'll let you know what happens as it does. Take care.
