I had said in the last entry that I hadn't posted for a while. Well, it will probably be longer before I make more entries. In two days, I start massage school. I will be working full time in the days and going to school four nights a week for five hours a night. If I thought I was stressed before, well...slowly, take a deep breath...let it out.
I went through orientation the other night, and the class looks interesting. What started out as 13 applicants (and each one goes through an interview process), ended up being a class of six, which is the minimum number they need to have a class. Let’s see, two people were turned away as the owner felt she did not want them in her school, two are buying houses, one was sick, one moved to the day class, and I don’t remember about the other. That left me, and five young ladies, a waitress, a dental assistant, an insurance agent working in the family business, someone right out of high school, and someone who will be getting out of the military in July. The school’s owner, Roxanne, kept saying how glad she was that I was there to balance out the energies.
Roxanne later asked if I would be interested in doing some Reiki in the school. It seems their Reiki master moved to another state. She will be talking to the massage instructor and letting me know what they are looking for. This could be fun.
Now, just because I am busy, it does not mean that I will be stopping teaching or healing. On the contrary, I am available to teach as before, my time is just limited to weekends and Friday evenings. And somewhere in there I need time to study, but I am still available should anyone be looking for a teacher, or be in need of healing.
I will post out here when I can. I think in four weeks when we start touching bodies (up until then it is all textbook learning, anatomy and physiology) that I will start doing a bit with my ethereal abilities.
This looks like it will be fun, and I feel it is a necessary next step along my path. So, as I travel on my path, may your travels be good also. Love and light to you.
