I had a very interesting week in class last week, massage class that is. Well, it started in massage class Tuesday, but continued into anatomy class on Wednesday, and massage again on Thursday. So far, all my classes have been nothing but bookwork, but next Tuesday, we will take a test, then learn draping, and then begin working on each other. But, that is neither here nor there.

We were talking about things in the last hour of class on Tuesday, and for some reason, one of the girls/ladies (take your pick) mentioned that she had a headache, and had had it for three days. We reached a breaking point when we had finished going over the material we needed to cover. The teacher would have let us go, but the requirements for licensing is measured by the number of class hours. We have to complete 500 hours of class to get a license, and the program I am in is 700 hours. So, since she couldn’t let us go for another half hour, she had us do our clean up and then come back. While that was going on, I went over and offered to help with the headache if I could. She said yes.

I placed my hands in the position to do polarity therapy. I let the polarity energy work for a moment, then I added Reiki to it. After a couple minutes, she said that it wasn’t doing much. She figured that she had been putting up with the headache for three days, and that she had to put up with it for a while longer. Not one to give up easily, I changed my tactics. I put one hand on the ground, and the other on her forehead, and I pulled. I pulled out a lot of energy, and sent it to the ground. I reached a point that I felt it going, and pulled a last bit out into my hand and then threw it away to the ground. She looked at me, eyes wide. She told me it felt like I had pulled the headache right out of her head. The rest of the class, including the teacher, were the same way, their eyes wide. But important part is that her headache was gone.

The next night, one of the other students was extremely tired, and was sore. She has fibromyalgia, and when it starts getting bad, hurts around the neck. I offered to give her a ‘wake up’, and after seeing what I did the night before, accepted. I told her to visualize a battery inside her, and to see the energy I was sending to be charging that battery. She watched it, and then told me when her battery was full. Then I took another moment and sent Reiki to her neck. It was funny because my anatomy professor (a medical doctor) told me he would give me until 15 minutes into the class to finish working on her. That was nice, especially since I don’t know how much he believes in it all.

She told me that the pain had gone, and that she was wide awake. She said she felt flushed and very hot. She was awake for class, and she was pain free. The next evening when I saw her, she told me that she had been awake almost all night. She felt that I had overcharged her battery too much. She was so wide awake that she couldn’t get to sleep, and she spent the whole night cleaning her house. Oops. I guess I should have thought to tell her about grounding before she left the night before. I explained how to do it when she got home that night, and to do it if ever that happened again. In telling her that, I was actually telling the whole class as they were listening.

Later, we paired off into partners and were told to practice a particular stroke on the partner’s arm. As that was being done, the teacher called another stroke, and continued this until she had gone through several. My partner had worked on me, and then it was my turn to work on her. I basically did the strokes, but differently, and more thorough. When we were done, she announced to the class that I was her partner from now on.

The following evening, we were practicing massage strokes on a clothed victim (client). One of the girls was complaining about a sore back. I reached over with one hand, and pulled out a bunch of energy from her back and threw it away. She looked at me with a surprised look on her face, and told me that her back didn't hurt anymore.

She later told me that she was a skeptic, and had to be shown things to believe that they work. She said that she is now a believer.

When I related these happenings to my friend in Ireland, she told me that I manage to convert everyone I know. I'm not sure that I do this, and I don't know that convert is the right term, but it is nice to be thought of like this in a good way.

I guess if these journal entries 'convert' you, and you are happy with the way you are thinking, then I guess it has all been worth it.

Light be with you.
