I was sitting at my desk today when I had a surprise. I got a call out of the blue to come do a massage... tonight. And strangely enough, it was not from anyone I know.

My client was in need of bodywork, so he went looking in the yellow pages online. About three weeks ago, I had signed the contract to have a bold listing in the yellow pages book. That physically comes out in July or August. What surprised me was that the information went into the online 'book' immediately. Apparently, my client had looked through the listings until he found a name that he liked (like Caring Palms).

He called my cell phone (my business number), which doesn't pick up when I'm at work, and through some phone tag, we set a time. I went home, packed up table and all the felgercarb that I take with me (sheets, files, forms, etc.) and headed out.

My client told me that he was looking for someone he felt was good and that he could connect to. He was looking at getting bodywork monthly, and once he found someone he liked that he would schedule more.

I worked for a good hour doing a thorough job. Afterward he told me that I had done real well. Cool. I told him that if he wanted to book more, to just call me.
