After planning, and plotting, and hoping, I finally managed to have a third Reiki share. The real neat thing is that there were seven people that showed up.

Carla and her husband came up from St. Augustine as well as Helen from around the "corner" who brought her sister from Canada, and there was John, and Jean, and Thomas.

Jean was attuned by a Reiki master who then gave her Dianne Stein's book to read, which she has cover to cover. Although Jean is very good at sensing and directing energies, she never did get the feeling that she could channel Reiki at a very high level. She had actually called earlier this week looking for a teacher. Thinking it would give her a good chance to see what we do, I invited her to the share. She did very well mixing in things that she has not been trained in. At one point, I suggested a change to her visualization, and traced her energy paths to increase the energy flow.

Another welcome addition was Thomas who is new to the area. He contacted me looking for Reiki circles and such. His wife is a master who is currently in Vermont trying to sell their house. Thomas himself is a Reiki 1 practitioner. We were concerned about whether we would see him as he had gotten lost on the way over. I think it was the call from the airport that really had us going.

Before we started, I walked everyone through some basic energy exercises so we would all be protected and grounded.

We all had some learning experiences as we were scanning people. There were many times that we were finding places where people claimed that no problems existed. On one person, we sensed problems in the area of her breasts. (Unlike my previous posts, she was not wearing an underwire bra.) The energy we were picking up was coming from both breasts instead of just one. This made me feel that whatever it was, it was not a serious problem. What our subject told us was that she has fibrous tendons there, which we might be picking up. That was probably it, and in her case, that was normal.

On another person, we kept having a feeling of a problem around his midsection. He was in no pain, and had no problems that he was aware of, at least not there. It was Jean who came up with the feeling that something was missing. It was then that our subject admitted to being born with only one kidney. Wow.

Everyone got to do healing, and everyone got to get healing. It was all neat. Just because we had a group, we decided to do the Reiki 2 healing chain. This was a very spectacular thing for all of us. John had seen this technique last week when I taught Reiki 2, but there were only three of us there at the time. With seven of us in the chain, it was a lot different. I think that everyone's eyes got opened, even those that had done this before.

It was a very neat time, with wonderful company. I'm not sure when I can do this again, but I sure want to.
