I worked on my neighbor last night, and there is a funny story that goes along with this.

My next door neighbor and his wife have helped out quite a bit over the years. They’ve been bodies for Reiki students and massage practice. When I was in clinicals, they came down to be worked on by me. What can I say, anything to get worked on.

At any rate, my neighbor goes fishing almost every weekend, and catches quite a lot. He comes back with grouper, snapper, cobia, etc., and he usually gives us a meal’s worth. So, now and then, I give him a massage as a thank you. (What can I say? I work for fish.) Well last night was one of those nights. But what was funny was the conversation he had with his wife before coming over.

He told her that he was going out to see me. She asked what for, and he told her that he was getting a massage. She then asked why he was lucky enough to get one and she wasn’t. Well, my neighbor looked his wife right in the eye and said, “because I put out.”

(Uhh, in case some of you didn’t get it, he was talking about giving me fish.)
