The massage business has been slow. Last month I barely made rent, but did not make other expenses. It looks like this month is starting out the same way, with one difference... I’m getting a lot of calls for classes.
Although, I don’t know how things will pan out when dates actually get set and deposits come in, right now, I’m getting a lot of people interested in taking Reiki classes. I currently have four signed up for the Reiki 1 class next Saturday, and three signed up for the Reiki 2 class the next day. This is a larger number of students than I usually get, and it is a welcome change from the norm.
Something else seems to be happening here too. With the massage not doing well (basically because life is happening for people), I am getting more students to balance out. So you see, there is balance in the universe. Cool.
