Interestingly enough, I’ve made rent and expenses for June now, although I haven’t done enough work to do so.
During this month, I taught Reiki 1 to two students, and sold four gift certificates (last month I sold one). I wish I could count on giving a Reiki class each month, but I know I can’t. That’s money I need to make up with massage bodies. The sale of the certificates was good, but I don’t know when I will work on the people they are being given to. That is one of the problems with gift certificate sales. One gets the money right away, but doesn’t get to earn it until later. With someone with a full schedule, they could sell many certificates one month boosting their income, and then work half of the next month earning it and showing no income.
I only have three sessions scheduled for the remainder of the month. It is a scary thing when I look at an empty schedule and hope for it to fill up.
Since I am waiting for workers to finish doing upgrades to my house, I will be putting it out to the universe that I need lots of people coming in that need healing, and they can start coming in on Tuesday. Hear that universe? Send me people that need help.
