As of today, my shop is licensed for Reiki.
This took a lot of doing. I had applied to the Neptune Beach city office for two occupational licenses, one for massage and one for Reiki. I knew the massage one would take longer, so I wanted to be able to open and do some business. I had paid for both licenses with one check. When I went in to pick up the Reiki one I was told I couldn’t as they couldn’t cash the check since the place hadn’t been approved for massage. I had to take back the check and write two new ones so I could get the license. And I still had to wait a day for someone to sign it.
Government moves in strange and mysterious ways. But at least I have one license.
