Tonight, I gave a class (workshop) on energy at a Unitarian church. I called it ‘Working With Energies’, or ‘Using the Force 101’. I had about 10 students, and the class went really well.
I had thought about doing a short meditation to start, but once I saw how ready to sleep the people were, I decided to skip that. I talked for about five minutes then got them all up doing energy exercises.
Along with the material, there were several questions that got us off onto interesting discussions. One had to do with negative energies, and balancing negative and positive.
One person asked why would one want to be able to find negative energies in another (as in scanning). I replied that being able to do so is very beneficial for a healer of any type. Even for someone who is not a healer, if they happened to be the one that stopped for someone that had hurt themselves, or even to really see where a child is hurting, the ability to scan is essential.
To prove my point, I looked over the room quickly, and picked one person and started telling her where some of her problems were. There were a number of looks of disbelief through the room. I then told my victim to tell me if I was wrong at all. She said that I was correct in everything I saw. Some of the looks in the room changed dramatically.
I got the feeling that they all enjoyed the class. And they did stay awake for it, which was a big plus.
