Someone I used to work with came in for bodywork today. She was in great need.
She had been dealing with a knot under her shoulder blade that had stretched up to her neck, and down to her foot. She had been getting massage from another therapist, but he had just been working her back. The day after, she would have the pain back again, and as debilitating.
When she told me about this on the phone I could ‘see’ the problem on her left side, and where it stretched to. When she came in, I convinced her to let me do a full hour (she could only afford half that), as I didn’t feel I could solve her problems during that time.
A couple days later, she told me that I had fixed the problem in her back, but she still had a stiff neck. That will be our next session. Cool. I’m glad I helped her.
