A few years ago, a friend showed me how to sense other’s emotions and mental state. I used it now and then after I learned, but then eased off. Lately, I have been doing it quite a bit more.

As mentioned in a previous post, I have a friend going through some major problems. I have another that is trying to push herself to the breaking point (if not beyond). When I ask either of these people how they are doing, they tend to tell me a little less than the truth. They would rather I not worry about them, so they tell me that they are better than they actually are.

Because of this, I have been tapping in to their emotions to tell me if they are telling the truth or not. There is a point that I don’t want to do this, but I feel I need to so I knowif my friends need help. And knowing that, I am able to help them. I feel that there is a difference between what I am doing, and eavesdropping. I’m not trying to find out what they are doing. I’m just taking a quick feel because I have a gut feeling that what they’re telling me is not correct.

After not having done this in a long time, I’m surprised that I can still do it relatively easily and accurately. I visualize the person I want to ‘taste’. Then I visualize their emotional state flowing into the top half of my head. I see this as liquid flowing back and forth in my head. After I have enough ‘info’, I basically stick a ‘feeler’ up into the ‘liquid’ and I open myself to feel what is there.

At that point, I actually feel the emotions that the other person is feeling. At least that is if I don’t let mine mix in with them. That is the hard part. If I am dealing with strong emotions, they will mix in, and I won’t be sure about what I think I’m feeling.

When I feel what is there, and I am not mixing in anything, I can tell a lot. I can tell if they’re happy or sad. I can tell if they feel like crying, or if they are having trouble breathing. You see, I experience this for the fewseconds that I am testing.

Once I have made my determination, I let the ‘liquid’ out, and clear myself. I have done this with people close by, and people many miles away. Once I did this with my friend in Ireland. Those I have done it to have been surprised as I am usually pretty accurate. Very interesting though.
