Miracles do happen. Truly. I talked with two of my students yesterday, and each told me a story of doing Reiki not long after their class. And the results were amazing.

Bill, one of my most recent students, told me that his ex-wife was in the hospital, and had been in a coma for something like three weeks. She has brain cancer. He went in to see her, and did Reiki. Something told him not to do the regular full treatment, but instead to go straight to her head, and work there. (When we teach Reiki, we give certain suggested times to follow in a specific routine. But what we really want the student to develop is an intuitive sense of where to be and how long to be there.) Following his intuition, Bill worked on her head only. I don’t know how long he worked, but it was a little while. A little while after completing the treatment, he left.

He got a call a couple of days later. His ex-wife was awake and talking. Coincidence? I think not. One law of the universe that I do believe in is that there are no coincidences.

Lisa is a massage student at a local school. She had to do some type of presentation to her class (as all the students did). She decided to do her presentation on Reiki. The initial response from her classmates was “Energy healing? Yeah. Right.” Basically, they showed a high degree of disbelief.

She took a volunteer from the group, someone that had been having pain in his leg for many months. She put him up on the table, and did all her scanning and preparatory movements to snickers from the class. She did a full Reiki session explaining things as she went. When she was done, her subject was pain free. Not only was he pain free, but he has been pain free since, and it has now been a few weeks.

I think her class is now considering the possibility that energy healing is nothing to laugh at.

Interesting stories huh? It is neat to hear these types of stories told by my students. It tells me that I am doing the right thing.

Take care all.
