Well, it has been a long weekend, but the shop is finally back in order.

It took six hours on Saturday to put all the things back where they belong. I had cabinets to fill, things to put on tables, and my computer to put back together. Just to load all the things on the floor back into the cabinets that they came out of was hours. Putting all of the fountains and crystals back where they belonged and wiring them all up was very time consuming.

The next day, we had to cut some off the bottom of each door. The original carpet was just thin indoor/outdoor stuff. What I put in was industrial grade, but with 8-pound padding underneath, so the height of the carpet came up dramatically. In some cases, I had to cut as much as an inch off of the doors, and then re-hang them.

But now that all that is done, the place looks spectacular. I went with black carpeting because some of my throw rugs had been a lighter color, and the oil from people’s feet (after the massage) was turning that lighter color black. I figured I might as well start with black. This way, no one would notice.

If you get a chance, go through the interior photos of the shop and you’ll see how much it has changed.
