So much for hopes and desires. I got blown off for the last time this year.
I had two people scheduled today. One of the appointments was made earlier this week. The other was made yesterday. I didn’t get a phone number on one of them, or else it simply hadn’t made it to electronic form. I called the other number and got no answer. I guess maybe they got better deals. (I have seen this where people with scheduled appointments will check around for better times, and then go with the best fit. The problem is that they are usually rude and don’t cancel the appointment that they are not planning on going to.)
I had someone scheduled to come in on the 16th who didn’t show up. This would have been their third time in. I turned down a massage that morning because it would have conflicted with the one I had scheduled, who then didn’t show up. What irks me is that this person that didn’t show up is a massage therapist herself. I’ll bet she wouldn’t want her clients doing that to her.
Well, I’ve sounded off enough. And yes, I’m truly stopping here. I didn’t intend on this being my last rant of the year.
Well, this year ended on a downer, so next year can only go up. Here’s to a prosperous and healthy new year to all of us. Take care.
