The client whose daughter it is that I worked on for migraines gave gift certificates to her parents for the holidays last year. They came in today.
I did massage on the father, who I am told is a skeptic. I looked at him and picked out his problems areas, and slowly, he acknowledged to some extent that they were at times problems. (He later told his daughter, my client, that I had done this, but never gave any credit to mystical abilities.). He did tell her that he really liked his massage.
I then worked on the mother, but because of a problem she has, I was not able to do massage (it was contraindicated). This is why she was there for a Reiki session. She laid on the table as I worked for a good 40 minutes, during which time, she fell asleep. When I finished on her front side, I asked her to turn over. Laying face down was hard, so I hurried through that side. I should have just finished with the one side as the energy goes where it is needed.
I helped her off the table and into a chair in the waiting room. I saw she was shaking. I asked what was wrong, and she said she gets tremors now and then. It is usually caused by stress. She didn’t know why she had them right then as she said she was relaxed more than she had been in a long time.
I watched this for a couple of minutes. I calmed and went over and placed my hands on her back. While there, I sent calming energy into her. Within a minute, she had stopped shaking. She looked at me and said, “I need to keep you around.”
She told this to her daughter and husband. He sort of wrote it off, but the daughter (my client) looked at me with wide eyes. After her parents left, she told me that when her mom gets the tremors, they don’t just go away.
I could see it going through her mind… removes migraines… takes away tremors… bends steel in his bare hinds… uhh, no. I do what I’m allowed. Nothing more, and probably a lot less as I don’t push the envelope much any more. Maybe I should start pushing.
