Well this has been a very busy week, and I’m loving it.
Now that my sister-in-law has moved out of the shop, I am responsible for the entire rent, and I think the universe is seeing that and sending me more people because of it. This week alone, I have done 2 chakra balancings, 2 energy cleansings, 3 ½ hours of massage, 5 Reiki sessions, and half of Reiki 1 (part 2 comes Tuesday).
I’m doing a lot more energy work lately, and I’m enjoying it. Some of the tings I’m doing I haven’t done in a long time. I’m glad to be getting more of it to do.
I like it when I’m busy. I feel more positive, not only because I’m paying the rent, but because I’m doing some good healing (or allowing healing to happen).
I also talked with two students from a local college (separately). They are both taking an alternative medicine class and were assigned to visit local establishments, and get flyers, and find out what they could. I talked with the first one for about 10 minutes, but didn’t want to take up too much time as I was in the middle of Reiki 1 at the time. The girl from the college said she was actually interested in taking Reiki at some point in time. (My student came out and told her how good a teacher I am, and how she should take the class with me.) Cool.
The second girl came in this evening, an hour before a scheduled Reiki session. We had plenty of time to talk, and I gave her a short Reiki demonstration and a couple minutes of massage. She told me that she loved hearing me talk about it because I am so up beat. Well that was nice. She also offered to pay me something for my time but I declined. I was doing a demonstration, not a session.
All in all, it’s been a really great week.
