I had a very interesting morning. I went out to a local technical school and gave a talk on Reiki to the massage students there.
I was called by a student at Sanford Brown Institute and asked if I would be willing to address their Allied Modalities program. This is something the students are assigned to do, call related businesses to see if they can get guest speakers.
I wish I had taken my Reiki 1 outline as it might have made my delivery smoother, but the talk and demonstration went well. They had combined three classes to listen to my presentation.
I talked about Reiki, and about energy, and chakras. I had them looking at each other to see their auras. When it came time to do the demonstration, I took the person that had contacted me and had her stand in front of the class. I closed my eyes and told her where her problems were. The class sat there wide eyed.
In the demonstration, I worked with the lights down low (which caused a couple of the students to fall asleep). While I worked I talked and answered questions. The questions they asked were very good and very insightful. They were surprised that I could channel the energy and talk with them at the same time.
When I had finished the back of the body, I stopped. My subject was feeling sooo relaxed. Her back (which had been hurting) did not hurt anymore.
The morning was fun and educational for all of us.
