I had a very interesting day today. I ended up doing a massage and two Reiki sessions.
My day started with a massage. One day last week, I had a man stop in as his bike ride was interrupted by a massive rain storm. He had back and shoulder problems, but did not have a lot of time. I did a half hour of Lomi on him, and he was feeling so good that he came back today.
He liked his massage. He is trying to regain the mobility that he had. The Lomi and deep Swedish massage techniques are helping. He made an appointment for next week.
I had someone come in that wanted a Reiki session. He had had one a few years ago, and was impressed. He felt that his destiny was to heal with his hands. To this end, he was looking for a Reiki teacher, and wanted a session to see if the teacher was any good. Ah, an audition. No pressure.
He pulled a ton of energy. It was really amazing how much energy went through me into him. I guess his need was great. He told me later that once he knew his schedule, he would be signing up for a class in the next couple of months. Cool.
Going into the studio for the Reiki session, I noticed one of the ladies form one of the other offices out by her car crying. I went over and passed her calming energy. I told her to stop in when she got off.
After my last client left, she came over, and I did about 20 minutes of Reiki on her. She was much calmer and feeling much better when she left. I was glad I could help.
