I just came off a weekend where I taught Reiki both days.

I taught Reiki 2 to a couple students yesterday. It was neat. I kept showing them the new things, and they kept taking it in and doing what I asked. Then once they were ‘in the zone’, I would introduce something new with “ok, now change your thinking so it incorporates this...” Then I would see their eyes open, and a look on their faces as the light went on inside. And the neat thing is that I did this several times with the same responses.

Today, I taught Reiki 1 to two massage therapists. As with all my classes, I told them at the beginning that if they had a question, to ask it rather than wait until I was at a breaking point. They both told me not to worry as they always ask lots of questions.

As class went on, I kept asking if they had any questions. They kept telling me “no”. They said I was teaching so well that they didn’t have any. It was getting funny as they were trying to come up with something to ask just because they told me they do. But most times, they were satisfied with the information they had been given.

The two of them work in an office with doctors or chiropractors. They said that they love doing the work, but there is so much negativity there that they have trouble focusing. They asked about cleansing the treatment rooms. So, I spent about 20 minutes or so showing them how to shield a room, and how to use sage and other means to clean an area. We also talked about daily cleansings that would set things up for the day. That, along with the basic energy I taught them in the class should keep them in good shape to work even if the area is filled with negativity.

All in all, it was a long, but very rewarding weekend.
