I had a client in here today that made a comment that made me think a half second or so. He said “you do massage spiritually, don’t you?”
Wow. I had never thought of it that way. I certainly consider it spiritual when I do energy work. After all, the ability comes from spirit, and I spend a good while talking with them now and then. But I had never thought of the physical act of bodywork in those terms.
When I do bodywork, I do tend to get messages, or indications of what to do. I know that there are energies that pass, whether I specifically try to or not. I just never considered it being spiritual.
Yet at the same time, when I think about what he said, and look at how I do things, I guess that is exactly how one would describe it.
