Tonight, because my student did not show up, I ended up sitting in on the Chinese medicine class where they were showing a video on Reiki. Oh my gosh! What a piece of Felgercarb! But what it lead to was absolutely spectacular.
This video had some Reiki master at the Bell Rock vortex in Sedona, Arizona. He had a crystal on a table, and he instructed the viewers to concentrate on the crystal, and move their hands as told. When that was done, they were attuned. Yeah, right. Attunements don’t happen through DVD. The video then showed a few of the hand positions by putting up drawings on the screen. That was it. There was no real instruction.
One thing I noticed was that this person kept flashing his website on the screen a lot. When we went on break, I went to the computer lab and looked it up. It does not exist. Gee, that’s a surprise.
But what happened next was neat. Having a Reiki master in their midst, they asked questions, and asked me to talk a bit. Since I will be doing a full lecture on Reiki to all the evening students next Monday, I kept it simple and stayed mostly with energy in general rather than Reiki specifically. This worked well as Chinese medicine deals mostly with energy.
The students that had been in my last class were in this one. They told of the time I had removed a headache form one of them. Then one of my former students asked me to get rid of the headache she had. I put my hand on her forehead, pulled out the negative energy, and threw it away. She said that it was gone. When she noticed that most of the students were looking at her skeptically, she told them “I’m not lying. It really is gone.”
After that, I did the same for someone else. Then I got to talking about scanning, and had one of the other students stand up. I looked over her and told her where all her problems were including a problem in her left wrist. She looked at her teacher wide eyed and asked if she remembered that she had said something about having some small trouble there.
Next someone else asked me to scan them. Again, I told them where all of their problems were. They were shocked. To keep from having to do this to everyone in the room, I started talking about hand scanning demonstrating it on yet another student.
I talked a little about astral projection and some of the other stuff I do. I talked about picking up on people’s vibrations and sending Reiki and other energies long distance. Then I decided to do some class participation stuff.
I got everyone in a circle, had them hold hands, and then I started passing energy around the circle. We used this to do the shielding exercise. After that, they all said that their hands were buzzing.
I looked at the teacher and asked what time I needed to let them go on break. She told me that whenever I stopped talking was fine. She also mentioned that by this time they would usually be looking and pointing at their watches, telling her it was break time. Last night, no one was concerned with break.
So, next I showed the grounding exercise and one of the centering exercises. I also showed how they could feel each other’s auras. It was so neat because they were all so blown away by what they did.
I had fun, and the class was just so totally mesmerized by what we did. They now have a better concept of energy, which I think will help them comprehend some of the Chinese medicine a little better. Cool.
