Well, I had an awesome week last week. It just would have been nice to bring in some money.
I did six awesome sessions but only brought in money from one of them. Three of these sessions were gift certificates being redeemed. And although I know I have already been paid for these, and that I am now finally earning that money, it is not new money coming into the shop.
The other two sessions were trades. One was a Reiki session that I did on my mediumship teacher in trade for a reading. The other was a massage trade with a friend that took Temple Lomi with me.
The one session that brought money in was one that called on Saturday. I went in to do a much needed massage on my client.
I find it interesting that I had a lot of money in the checking account by mid month, but so far I have been unable to add much to it. Yet, I still have two weeks left, so there are still possibilities.
One bright spot is that I have a client whose husband bought her some gift certificates back in December. She is realizing how much she needs the work, and plans on continuing to come after she uses the last one next week.
Well, at least I am doing work. If I weren’t even doing that, I would be really upset. J It is the work that keeps me going. It’s what I like to do.
