I’ve been lost in proverbs again.  I’ve been looking at my business and trying to figure out what to do next to get customers in.

I am getting my regulars coming back when they can, but I need more regulars.  I don’t seem to be getting many new people coming in, and I can’t figure out why.  There are weeks when the phone just doesn’t ring.  That in itself is scary.  I know that this is a slow time of the year, but if it doesn’t pick up soon, there may not be too many tomorrows.

A reading I had said that there is something coming in about six months.  I obviously need to still be in business then.  I’ve tried going into the corporate world, but after four months of working out the details, it fell through because of the restrictions the corporation put on it.

I tried putting out an ad to rent the extra room, but have gotten no takers.  The universe is getting me through, but my faith may be wavering.  I do need to see improvement, and one or two people a week is not it.  I started looking at proverbs.

The first was “All things come to those that wait.”  Well, I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting.  On the other hand “Those that hesitate are lost.”  What should I not be hesitating on?  And doesn’t this kind of contradict the other?  So which proverb is the one I should  follow.  Or maybe I just need to get off my proverbial butt and figure out some way to attract new business.
