I was on my way to school this evening when I was hit by a large truck. I got banged around, but other than that I am unhurt. It was what my neighbor said when she looked at the damage to my car that threw me. She told me “You’ve got more damned lives than a cat.” Wow.

Now, the accident happened in rainy weather, on a very wet road. Some person in front of me decided he needed to be in the right lane, so he cut over there in front of an asphalt truck (I’m figuring it was either six or ten wheels). What he wasn’t looking at was the stopped traffic ahead. The truck driver slammed on his breaks sending him sideways into me. He almost flipped over. As it turned out, no one was hurt, and the driver that caused it got away.

The funny thing is that I think the universe is trying to tell me something. Here I was all depressed not too long ago, and I had made up my mind that I wanted to be around. I decided that there are people I need to help, and I need to be here to do that. So with my mediumship teacher’s help, I am back on the straight and narrow, and working through my problems.

And now suddenly… BAM! I know that I am very lucky. If the truck had rolled, I would probably have been under it. It could have been much worse. It is almost like the universe is telling me to knock it off, or it will take matters into its own hands. It is almost like it was saying that it could simply snuff me out like a candle without warning if I don’t get my shtuff together. Hmmm, nice thought. J The thing is that I did not see any of what transpired happen. I only knew it when I heard “BAM”.

But my neighbor’s comment did bother me. I have more lives than a cat? Even those run out. Ok, Universe. I’m flying straight now.
