I had a client in today that I have seen several times before. She had some issues and wanted a good massage so she could relax, but something said I should do MFR.

My client was suffering from a headache and some muscle issues. While she was getting on the table, I was out in the lobby writing up my notes from my sight scan. Something said I should do Myofascial Release. I think I had connected the headache to possible alignment issues.

At any rate, I mentioned this to my client. And she asked if I really felt it was what we should do. I was not sure, so I told her we would go with what she wanted, and had asked for. But as I was getting ready to start, for some reason, I could not seem to get started.

I reached out to spirit and asked if I should be doing MFR. I got a resounding ‘yes’. I asked if she would feel better if I just did what she had requested. I was told ‘no’.

I talked with my client, and explained MFR. She told me that if I felt strongly about it, I should do it. Like most regulars, she trusts my experience and my ‘gut feelings’. So, she stood for me so I could assess her physical alignment. Then we did an hour of MFR.

When we were done, her shoulders were level as were her hips. These are things that were very ‘off’ when we started. Her headache was mostly gone, and she felt great.

I know, I know. Listen more, and trust what I’m told.
