Well the newspaper article has already generated a call. But I’m afraid this is what I can expect to be getting.
My call was from a lady whose sister has a cyst in her brain. It is inoperable, but her doctor says that it is not doing any harm. Hmmm. The sister fell down the other week and now can’t smell anything. Not doing any harm huh? Even I can figure that one out. Duh.
But what concerns me the most is that this article will bring me mostly people that have been passed through the medical system and given no hope. Now, Reiki does not always work, and it is really up to the soul of the receiver to decide what to do with the energy if it decides to receive it. Just like there is no sure cure for everything, or one thing that works on everybody, Reiki will not always work, or will not always do what one would expect it to do.
But by getting people who have no other hope, we could have a lot of disappointed people. We could also have a lot of miracles. As long as I keep an open mind and don’t discount anything, it will go wherever it does. I am open to it doing wonders. Now it is just up to the Reiki and the soul.
