We had a real good Reiki 1 class today with a few challenges.

I had two students, both of whom are massage therapists. One has her license here while the other had her license in California and is looking to get one here sometime.

They both felt the energies when we used them and had no problem tapping into the Reiki. But that was where the interesting part came in. as one of them was working, she started feeling nauseous and lightheaded. Now, I have had things happen before as people react differently to the energies. The last time, I was giving a demonstration when my subject started having massive releases of emotions. This can happen in a Reiki session or massage session. It just kind of sucks when it happens during a demonstration. But today was very different.

At the midpoint of the class, I had taught scanning. With both students, I sensed something in their breasts. Usually when this happens, I ask my subject if she is wearing an underwire bra. You see, an underwire bra lifts the breasts in such a manner as they both show up as problem areas to a hand scan. When both of my students answered ‘no’, I got concerned.

With one student, she had had a problem some time ago, and that was what I was probably picking up as it was in that specific area. The other, we had no reference. I had found two specific areas. One could simply be how the breast sat in the bra, but I could not see anything for the other. Now, it could be stress, or a muscle pull. It does not always have to be something nasty. But her health is such that she is susceptible. I suggested that she have it checked out.

At any rate, both of these ladies are good friends. So when one was working on the other, her emotions were very much in play, especially after doing the scan. She had to stop a couple of time while I flooded her with energy. She ended up sitting down while she did the rest of the treatment. My advice to her was that she needed to keep checking on her visualization to make sure that the energy is coming through her, and not from her.

But although there were a few challenges, it was a fun and wonderful class.
