We had a mediumship class today and we had to talk for three minutes on a word given to us at random. I remember doing this some time back and having to talk for 10 minutes. This was much easier.
At first we were each asked to talk for three minutes on anything we wanted to talk about. It would have been real easy for me to talk about classes and such as I am in the middle of a massive influx of students right now. But Marilyn was talking about words flowing and the energies flowing, so I talked about flow for three minutes. It was fun.
When it came time to get the mystery word, I got BIRTH. I jokingly made mention to a berth, as in a place to sleep on a train.
I started talking and mentioned that one immediately assumes we are going to talk about the birth of a child, but I was directed to talk only a short bit on that and more the birth of an idea. I talked about the energies coming together and the growth to make that idea into something viable. But just as with a child, there comes a time that you have to let go. You come up with the idea (or you do with the help of spirit), and then you feed it, give it help, guidance, bring it to fruition, and then you just have to release it to stand on its own. Either it will, or it will not, but you have to let it go.
As the time had expired, I knew I had to wrap up my talk, so I was guided to a closing. As I said each word, I waited for the next to appear in my head. It was like waiting on the download from a computer. As each word came, I spoke it. It was neat as it just fell into place
After that, we had to do some guided writing. Now, this is not automatic writing where spirit takes control of your hand and does the work. In this case, they supply the words or ideas and we put them down. We were taken into a meditation, and at the end we were in a place to hear what we needed.
The first thing I heard was the last line. I wrote that toward the bottom of the paper. Then words and phrases started coming to me and I put them down. I was a little concerned with time as I had to leave to pick up my in-laws at the airport so I was sliding in and out of ‘receiving mode’. But what I got was really neat. And I recognized that I have done this many times before and not realized where it was coming from. But the final thing was very nice, and trust me, I don’t write poetry.
But here is what came out...
I see the earth rotating.
Clouds flowing across continents in perfect symmetry.
Colors dance as oceans move.
Weather patterns change, still keeping the flow.
Upon the planet, creatures live out their lives, a small part of the symmetry, yet a large part at the same time.
Their lives moving and weaving, creating patterns and interactions that build upon the fabric of the landscape.
Eventually, the patterns grow, and move, and weave into the very essence of the planet itself, thus creating the circular shape we see from space.
Outermost forces build inward and support the innermost pieces of the design.
Innermost forces built outward to fulfill the whole giving circular flow.
The earth is a beautiful place.
