I am really glad May is over. There was just much too much going on during that month.
At this point I have gone through two surgeries for cataracts, one in each eye. (A cataract is where the lens of the eye gets foggy.) It had been to the point that I was risking my life to drive at night as I could not see the lane in front of me with traffic coming from the other direction. I think I was close to being legally blind in one eye because of it.
The scary thing is that Florida allows one to renew their driver’s license through the mail. That is what I did as I felt I probably couldn’t pass the eye exam. But now I see 20/20 in both eyes. I just need glasses for reading and mid-range stuff like computer work. But I can drive without them.
It was just that the stress over trying to get a new class to start up, advertise for it and have all this going on at the same time was a lot. I even taught Reiki 2 two days after the first surgery.
I am very glad it is all over.
