I had an interesting session today. It involved unwinding and meditation.
My client has been having anxiety problems stemming from something that happened in her past… that she does not remember. Another issue is that she knows she needs to make changes in herself and her life, but has not had the strength to start.
So, we started with unwinding. That is a way of letting go energies from one’s cells. (Everything we experience in our lives is stored as energy in all our cells. It takes unwinding to release it.) After two sessions, she was feeling a lot more relaxed and level headed.
Next I took her through a meditation. I took her to a place where she could energize and set parameters. I talked about strength and will to change. I talked about how all the chakras were tied to this strength and how each one was going to work for her.
All in all, I talked for about 20 minutes. The one thing I do know is that I had no idea what I was going to say until it came out of my mouth. I just started talking, and got pointed to something, and then I would say it. I would get pointed to something else, and words would come out of my mouth. It’s not like someone was making my mouth move and talking for me, but I was definitely being pointed to what to say.
We had a mediumship class one time where we were given a word and we had to talk for 15 minutes on that. I remember that my word was journey. As soon as I heard it, I heard ‘life is a journey’. I would talk where I felt I needed to go. When I ran out of things to say, I would see something, or feel something, or hear something that would start me talking again.
This was how it was today. I certainly do not remember all that I said. I did not know what I was going to say. But spirit led me through what needed to be said or passed on.
This is how things are supposed to happen. It makes me look like I knew what I was doing. Of course I admitted that none of it came from me. But it is nice when spirit takes me where I need to go. Maybe I should be more open so it would happen more often.
