Not too long ago, I did a unique chakra balancing and Reiki session on a client. Today, I had another similar session. I am starting to wonder if this is the plan for a while.

My client, whom I trade services with, came in, and she has been going through some very stressful times. She separated from her husband a few months back, and while she is determined to survive with a business that is underperforming in this economy, his attitude is one of, “She’ll come back soon enough.” So, consequently, you could describe her as messed up.

When I looked at her, I could see all the physical places that she was having trouble with (just as I do with all my clients). But then I started seeing energies and their motions, or lack thereof. I could see blockages in the chakras, and at the heart of it (literally) was one big black hole in the center of her chest. It was like a black vortex sucking everything into her heart chakra (the energy center for balance). Now, I have seen a lot of stuff (and I’m sure that doesn’t even scratch the surface of what is out there), but I had never seen this before. Obviously I needed to do some chakra work.

I began with the major chakra cleansing. As usual, I started at the crown (top of the head) and cleared that one, and then kept moving down. I was working with one hand above my client and one below. As I kept getting nearer to the heart chakra, they kept getting harder to clear. Each one was taking more effort and energy to get the chakra to the point that it was not blocked. I still had not gotten them aligned and spinning properly.

When I reached the heart, it was like looking into (and I can’t describe it as anything other than) a black hole. I put one hand under her and one on top as I had been. But when I started moving energy, it was all getting sucked into the hole and lost. It was like I was staring into the abyss and could not pull back. I felt like gravity was pulling me in and I could not look away.

Finally, I ‘blinked’. I broke away and stood up. I re-shielded myself and sat back down again. I started by reigning in the vortex that was the black hole. I moved around it until I started narrowing the edges, making it smaller. After a while, I was finally able to bring it in to the point that it stopped being a black hole and started being just a chakra again. The whole time I kept doing this, my client kept exhaling. She told me that in Chinese medicine, when you exhale as extensively as she was, you are releasing anger. Knowing what she was going through, this makes perfect sense. And although she did not seem like she was angry, I can see where she was, and had been bottling it up instead of releasing it through some other means.

When we are angry, we have to release that energy somehow. Some do it through physical activity, running, calisthenics, punching a bag (better than a wall). Some do it through meditation. I do it by dumping off energy through key words that I have created. Those that don’t find a way to release this energy (or that don’t even know they are building this energy) run a dangerous risk of having it all come out at once. They might snap at people that don’t deserve it, or they could get violent. People who have gone postal have built up anger like this until it affects them mentally and snap in some dramatically violent way. Thankfully, my client was releasing this energy by exhaling.

Once the chakra was back to being a chakra again, I was able to start working on it as I had done the others. But it still took a lot more energy than I had used at any of the others. As I worked, I started shaking, so I invoked the Unified Chakra so I could handle the amount of energy that was coming through. Then I felt a hand on my third eye passing white light through me. A moment later, I felt a pair of hands on my back sending energy through me and into my client. I started shaking again even though I was at my max of energy handling.

Finally, the heart chakra cleansed and balanced. The rest were interesting so to speak, but they were not nearly that hard. After I finished cleaning the chakras, I balanced them by getting them all spinning in the right direction and ‘lit up’.

I did Reiki on her after that. Between all the energy work, she felt relaxed and in good spirits.
