I heard something kind of interesting today. Your dreams are your brain taking a dump at the end of the day.

Wow. What if that was true? I mean, what if your brain takes in so much information in a day then it just has to dump it all out somewhere to continue to function?

I have always tended to think that our dreams reflect our needs or emotional state. If we are constantly worrying about something or being afraid of something, it shows up in our dreams because we have problems that we are worrying about or that we can't solve. Sometimes I feel our dreams are teaching us something, pointing us to the right answers, pushing his ahead on our paths.

Sometimes our dreams take us into other realms, to the astral plane, to somewhere outside our normal everyday existence. This is going to another state in seeing what is out there and learning what we can from it.

Our dreams are important. They are our hopes and desires, our fears, our solutions to situations. This is how new things are introduced.

At least that's what I think they are. I would really hate to think that they are just our brain getting rid of information that we can no longer hold.
