Well, this has been a week for old clients, and I don’t mean those that are geriatric.
On Monday, I saw a lady that was last here in 2006. In fact, I did not see her. She had been Renee’s client. When I messaged Renee later, she said that she remembered the name and that the person had been a waitress with back problems, and that she did not want to see a male therapist. Obviously that must have changed in the last five years since Renee left. I do remember that several of her clients called after she left and when they found out I did not have a female therapist here, went elsewhere. This was the first to ever come back.
I did some MFR and deep tissue massage on her. She said she was feeling better when she left. Maybe she will be back.
Then yesterday, I saw someone that had come to see me for massage and Reiki back in 2005. She needed some upper back and shoulder work as she had slept wrong. I managed to fix most of it before letting her go. She said she will be back for some Reiki. That would be nice.
I find it neat and interesting that people who have been here (even as far back as 2005 when my style was a lot simpler) come back when they want work.
