Today was not just another April Fools' Day. I got to see Rilind and I was totally surprised at what I saw. The real fools today are the ones that left him to die.
The Humane Society was having a major adoption event and Rilind was there as a celebrity dog. (Thanks to fans on his Facebook page and others, Rilind was picked as Caesar Malan's dog of the year. If you don't know Caesar Malan he is known from his TV program, "The Dog Whisperer".)
I got to stop by, see him, pet him, and give him some more Reiki. It has been several months since I saw a Rilind and the change in him was so amazing that it was hard to believe it was the same dog. From the bony carcass that he was when I first saw him to the filled out sizable dog that he is now is just so hard to believe. This dog was all meat and muscle.
When I came up to him he was happy to see me and my wife as we had visited with him at the park several times and of course were there the first time he was taken to the foster home. He was playful, happy, loving. During the short time we were there, I gave him several minutes of Reiki while he just laid there and smiled.
It was just so amazing to see this dog in the wonderful condition that he was in after seeing what he was like the first time we met. It just goes to show what a lot of love, a lot of care, and a little Reiki can do.
