I purchased some photos for use on the new version of the website, and I want to know… who takes these stupid pictures?

I felt I needed to have pictures that I own (high quality pictures) to use in the site and advertising. I found a lot of the same pictures on many sites, all for different prices. One place finally pointed me to BIgStockPhoto.com who sells pictures for $5 a one. It sure beats the $30 or $40 other sites wanted for the same pictures.

But what got me was that whoever takes most of the massage pictures is an idiot. It has the models (the person receiving the massage) looking up at the camera and smiling. I don’t know about any of you, but when I get a massage, I’m not looking up with a stupid grin on my face.

Come on people! If you are going to take pictures to show that massage is wonderful, think about what you are doing. It reminds me of an ad I saw years ago. This lady was in a bathtub (which was the product advertised). She was naked, covering her breasts with her arms. She was looking at the camera, and her eyes were saying, “How in hell did I get talked into this?” Yes, one looks at the eyes to see what is truly going on.

But in massage pictures one does not expect to see the eyes as they should be closed, not looking at the camera and smiling.
