I had a comment from a client today that I did not expect.
This person had come in with a gift certificate, and unfortunately, I did not get to research it until after she had left. The gift certificate had be purchased by her sister after having a freeform massage. Had I known this I might have offered the same massage, but since freeform requires less draping, I don’t usually talk much about it on a first visit unless someone tells me that they really just want to relax.
So, this person got a standard, integrated massage which included a few special moves to deal with her needs, or what I perceived her needs to be. She told me that she has gotten massage at lots of places, and mine was really one of the best. She said it was more artistic than any she had gotten, yet more thorough. Well, cool. The only unfortunate thing was that she is leaving town next week, and won’t be back unless she comes in to visit her sister.
