We started doing our video shoots today. I think this is something that will be really awesome.
I have been contracting through a company that manages about 50 review sites. These are sites like Yelp and Foursquare where people go to find what they want, or what is in their local area, like restaurants, or massages. These sites also allow people to put comments and reviews on them to help others decide if it is something they like.
Recently I have been made aware of how many of them are out there and how important they are to getting new business in here.
This company I am dealing with sets all your information up for you to change in one place, and then propagates it to these 50 some sites. And one of the things they allow are videos for each service we do.
So, I decided to start making videos of each of the styles of massage I do. Samantha has the video and photographic skills to shoot what we need and has volunteered to help. Cindy has volunteered to be my ‘body’ for each of the styles.
Today was shooting some, but mostly figuring out how we needed to do things. We did get one or two styles shot, but a lot of it was learning what we needed to do, and joking around.
Along with the work, we have stills of my standing over Cindy with funny faces, videos of my creeping up on her, and more. Samantha is promising a blooper real when this is all done. I am definitely looking forward to it.
