I just finished my first Advanced Body Mechanics class in two years. It was a rewarding experience.

I had two students, so it was a small class with lots of personal attention. One of my students had taken Reiki from me, so she knew the quality of the instruction. The other was new, but settled in very quickly.

I showed them a lot of basics before we put anyone on the table. At one point, one student asked me to look at some moves she does and tell her what I thought. I watched her and started making suggestions. She was thinking I was telling her that the moves were bad, and I had to explain it differently. I told her that the moves had validity, but I could see why she was hurting herself. She was using her forearm, but working across her body which made her twist her back. I showed her how I would position my body to do the same things. After I showed her my main forearm move, she decided that she liked it better. Cool.

Through the last two days of training, both students loved the moves I had to show along with the positions they needed to be in to get strength. They both felt it was a great class. I did too.
