I just had an interesting Reiki session. My client watched most of it from the ceiling.
I had in a client that suffers from anger issues, and has been taking medication for it, at least until the medication suddenly stopped working. His friend in Connecticut told him to try Reiki, so he did a search and drove 45 minutes to see me this morning.
Within a minute of starting, he began crying, and continued to do so for most of the session. He told me a little of what he saw when I had him turn over, and more about it when we were done.
When I started, he found himself at the level of the ceiling looking down on things. Basically, he had spontaneously astral projected. While he was up there, he started seeing and talking with people he knew that had passed (in other words, dead folk). This totally blew him away. The spirits he saw and listened to told him how much love was inside of him, how he was a good father and husband, how much spirit wanted him to live his life and be happy. He could feel the love pouring from them as well as the love in the Reiki.
He felt hope, something he had not felt before walking in my door. This was an amazing experience. The Reiki made the connection to spirit that he needed, and he was given information that he needed to hear directly from spirit. He didn’t need me to be a medium and pass this on. (Of course, as a medium doing Reiki, spirit can create anything it needs to help the person I am working on.)
I am really glad this was such a startling life-changing experience for him. All I did was my job, passing on Reiki. The rest was all spirit. Very cool.
