but after about a million tries,

the government's still broke.

You try to balance budgets,

while others circumvent,

let's take a billion from Medicare

and give it to Defense.

a shining star you are,

but clouds have covered you all up

until you are a blur.

The politics keep you buried

deep in murk and mire

Congress agrees on only one thing,

to make their incomes higher.
