Advance Warning For Approaching Disasters

Since its inception, ShadowCasters has played a major part in warning of major storms that would cause loss of life and property.  Because of the company's warnings, orderly evacuations were made in areas that would be flooded.  Crops were saved when they would have been ruined.  Rivers have been rerouted in time to prevent the bursting of dams.

But how do they do it?  How does it go from one weather predicting machine to saving lives and property?

It starts in the command center at ShadowCasters where the weather predicting machine senses the weather patterns and conditions at all point of the globe.  Once all the data is assembled it is processed by intuitive processes within the machine, processes that were programmed by George.  Once the data is processed, weather prediction is possible, as far as seven days in advance.

The first check is for major storms and where disasters could be.  Then the staff looks at these locations, and issues warnings thought the world wide GBN/GBS (Groundhog Broadcasting Network / Groundhog Warning System).  This system of satellites links to all the TV and radio stations, police and fire departments, and military bases.  Plans are made by ShadowCasters' highly skilled engineers.  From there any emergency plans necessary are made and carried out.

To help these agencies, ShadowCasters emergency crews are always on standby, ready to go to any corner of the earth.  In fact, there are crews on constant rotation that stay in the Emergency Center living quarters.  There is also a list of outside emergency personnel that can be contacted and transported almost instantly.  Many of these are George's cousins from Pennsylvania as they are some of the best engineers in the world.  The company's five jets are always on immediate call, and on standby.  If something happens that catches all the planes busy, then George's personal plane, Groundhog 1, is called in to be emergency transport.  This is how emergencies are handled and lives are saved.
