Depending on situations, some or many of the major energy centers of the body (chakras) can get blocked where energy does not pass through them. They control energies affecting thought, balance (not necessarily physical), emotions, communications, intuition, physical self, and connection to spirit. Occasionally, they can get out of alignment, unbalanced, or turning in the wrong direction. (From the point of view of the healer, the chakras should be turning in a clockwise direction.) This can happen through problems in our lives. Are we worried about something? Did something emotional happen causing heartbreak? Has there been an injury?
Which chakras are blocked depend on the situations a person is going through. For example, if someone is stressed, the chakra controlling thought processes will probably be blocked. And because thoughts due to worry causes that chakra to be blocked, it will also cause others to be blocked, like the chakra that controls emotions, and balance, even communication.
In this class, the student will learn to locate blockages in another person, and clear them using various methods. The student will practice all of the methods in the class. (It would be helpful to bring someone to be the subject.) This same method can be used to clear energy blockages anywhere in the body. (This information is taught as part of the Reiki 3 class.)
