I speak in public quite a bit. Sometimes it is small groups, sometimes it is larger ones. And no matter how much I plan, no matter how I think I know what I am going to say, things change and sometimes take a left. This is why I do not write speeches.

There are people that are egotistical, and there are many that can not stand them. Those that have large egos go about letting others know how good, or how important they are. This makes most of us believe that ego is a bad thing, especially in large doses. The rest tend to bury their egos. They understand their importance, or lack thereof. They understand that the universe does not revolve around them, and that they are only a piece of what is going on at all times. These people tend to remove their egos from most things that they do. With healers who work with outside energies, they know this to be true as it is the energy being utilized that is responsible for the magic that happens.

I did a massage today on another therapist that has been seeing me for a while. I was the fourth person he had come to with a particular problem. None of the others had been able to do anything for it.

I am still amazed at the power of Reiki. I went out last night after 9pm to do a Reiki session on a dog. The person that has this dog is a client and student. The dog, Deuce is a big 13 year old, lovable pup.

It is a pleasant day, so I head over to the nearby nature trails. I look over at the beginning of the trails and see that there are several to choose from. Slowly, I walk by them and 'feel' each, asking "which would be the best for me today?" When I feel one of the paths offered is more 'right' than the others, I head down it into the wooded area.

Some people have what they consider normal childhoods, but that begs the question... What is normal? What we considered normal even as little as 10 years ago is not normal today. Society is noticing things that it ignored before, and in some cases, it is going overboard on preventatives. In other cases, it is not doing enough.

Attitude IS important. We've all heard that before. But do we really know what it means, or how it affects us? That is the tricky part, and it relates to energy. I know I have said many time that whatever we put the most energy into is what we draw to us. If we fear a lot, then we make what we fear come true. But if we put our energy into envisioning good outcomes, instead of worrying about problems, then we draw those good outcomes to us.

I have been watching the new Cosmos series with Neil deGrasse Tyson. This program is a tour-de-force of scientific knowledge. It sets aside belief based on other possibilities especially when it talks about the origins of life. At one point, Neil talks about the possibility of Intelligent Design, but does not give credit to Creationism. And to go further into that, one would have to reference Ben Stein's documentary "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" where they show a huge difference between the two, yet neither side will say Intelligent Design belongs to them. But I am not here to debate religious theories. I want to talk about science, to a point.

Clear as a bell. Clearing away the fog. What is clarity? Is it the ability to see the truth beyond all the obstacles and misdirection? Is it the ability to hone in on that one piece of needed information? Is it knowing what is needed by gut instinct? Is it having perfect focus even though things are clouded? Yes to all of the above and so much more.

Last month, I wrote an article about the Undercover Boss episode that featured Massage Heights. My response to the program was like many other massage therapists across the country, disbelief and anger. In fact this one episode caused a massive outpouring of comments and hate across the internet. But that was mostly from massage therapists, and a lot of that was justified, but some of it was not.
