For this mediumship class, I did a reading on my teacher. This was hard as she had given me some news that I didn’t want to hear, so it was hard to shift gears and let go.

A journey is an incredible thing, but I’m not talking about packing your bags and going abroad. We have physical journeys, spiritual journeys, healing journeys. Anything we do, any goal we set starts us on a journey. The problem is that we sit around without goals, so we have no where to go.

September turned out to be a hot month for Caring Palms. Unfortunately, this was not due to a huge amount of sessions but high temperatures and a failure of the air conditioning system.

I taught a Reiki 2 class at the studio today. It was a very good class. I like the Reiki 2’s because I get to get on the table and receive healing. But when I did something interesting happened.

Today’s life has a good amount of stress. In fact, the stress levels of people have quadrupled in the last 30 years, maybe even the last 10. Computers have made things faster causing business to live or die on how quickly they can make decisions and implement them. This, of course, makes people have to react faster, work harder, and work longer.

One thing that bothers me about riding out the storm is how many businesses think that their employees lives are worth less than making a couple of bucks. Greed in this country is out of control.

Today, we rode out the storm. Tropical storm Fay passed our way. It dumped lots of rain and heavy winds in the area. While that was happening, I kept reinforcing the protections around the house.

I was on my way to school this evening when I was hit by a large truck. I got banged around, but other than that I am unhurt. It was what my neighbor said when she looked at the damage to my car that threw me. She told me “You’ve got more damned lives than a cat. ”Wow.

I gave a talk at Heritage Institute today on energy and Reiki. One of the things I had the students do was to feel each others energy fields. As usual, I got the response I usually get… It’s just their body heat.

Over the last 11 years, I have been a Reiki master, even though I have been doing this for a while now, I am still amazed at what it can do, and how amazing, almost miraculous it can be. By now, one would think that I would be used to it. I mean, people come in and get Reiki, and then leave feeling better. That is normal. But every now and then, it is like the sky opening up and everything falling into alignment.
