A while ago, I got notice that my high school was having a class reunion, or should I say another class reunion. To date, I haven't been to any, and I really don't plan on going. But it does make me think, what do people expect when you go to a class reunion? And then the next thought, why should one feel they should live up to those expectations?

My latest client today came out of the treatment room in tears, and it was not because I was beating on her. She had just had a truly amazing emotional release through the massage session. After I left her in the room, and she realized what had just happened, she just burst into tears.

I attended a mediumship class this evening. As part of a class exercise, we did speaking and writing off the tops of our heads. This is called Inspired speaking and Writing and the information comes from outside.

Yesterday marked the 10th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York. As part of what went on were endless news specials of things that happened that day, and one that impressed me was about the boat evacuation of people from Manhattan. And one of the things someone said impressed me.

Today marks 10 years since that WTF moment that changed the lives of everyone in this country. Consequently, it was 10 years ago today that I was supposed to have the first night of massage school. At least they had the sense enough to cancel classes that evening.

This year, being a massage therapist licensing period, Caring Palms has been teaching a lot of classes. In fact, when massage licensing happened two years ago, Caring Palms taught 92 students that entire year. This year, Caring Palms has taught 95 students, and the year is not over yet. More classes are scheduled and many are already confirmed.

Well, the rush is finally over. The licensing renewal period for massage therapists has come and gone. Caring Palms did its part by scheduling classes as often as possible including a Reiki 1 and a Reiki 2 on the last two days of the period.

Yesterday, the licensing period for massage therapists ended. And I just came off a two day marathon class session. We had Reiki 1 on Tuesday, and Reiki 2 yesterday (Wednesday). It was fun.

I find it strange that I decide to do something new after all this time. It is something I really should have been doing since the beginning, but didn't. After 200 some odd students, I have started taking a class photo at the end of each class.

Now, I really don’t dislike sales people, but there are those that drive me crazy, especially those that can't take 'no' for and answer. It is starting to look like salesmanship is a lost art. We have people that don't know how to talk, those that are rude, and my favorite. . . the ones that feel their opening line has to be a lie.

I just came off my first Body Mechanics course for this year. It was a truly wonderful experience, but I think I might have problems seeing. I think I have flash blindness from all the light bulbs going off in people’s heads during the class.
